The Denmark Fukushi Academy Bellinge is inspired by the Danish Folk High School which is based on the basic ideas of information by Danish pastor and philosopher Grundtvig:

Bellinge is located on the island of Falster approximately 130 km south west of Copenhagen. It takes 1.5 hours by private bus from Copenhagen Airport to The Academy on Falster. The 150 year old manor house also serves as the private home of manager Anne Holm and is situated very close to forest and beach areas. The house provides all necessary facilities for your stay and the lectures during your visit.

You will live in a private Danish home and experience Danish lifestyle, food culture and customs something you cannot experience at other study visits. We recommend strolling the streets of Falster in your spare time and experience the atmosphere which is very different from that of Copenhagen. This Academy does not to teach how to emulate the Danish system, but rather enable participants to choose the right solutions for them self based on the knowledge acquired here.

It is our hope that participants will come closer to understanding the Danish way of thinking, traditions and conduct by experiencing everyday life in Denmark in homelike surroundings. In addition to learning about the Danish welfare system we hope to give you your own personal experience of a "big welfare country" in little Denmark.
